More About Me

Born Realtor

I grew up in the Real Estate business, going on Broker's tour, attending showings and signings when I was still in diapers. I've been helping my mom with paperwork since I was ten years old. When I turned 16, I became a floating receptionist for Windermere and continued to work for the company off and on over the next 10 years. In 2009 I got my license and began assisting. After two years as a Licensed Assistant I decided it was time to jump in with both feet and I began a partnership with my mom Maryann Ward, who has been in the business for over 25 years. With her experience and my knowledge of the first time home buyer market, together we will provide million dollar service to any transaction.

Role As an Agent

When I'm not selling real estate, I spend my time directing plays. My years of experience as a theater director has taught me how to work with many different collaborators and listen to their individual needs. I feel the same can be applied to real estate. Buying and selling a home involves working with many different people with varying personalities to close a deal. I bring a level head and a compassionate ear to the emotional process of buying or selling homes. Furthermore, my priority is always what is best for the client. I will do whatever I can to help you through this process.

More About Me

Background

As a native New Yorker I am known for my no-nonsense, direct style. West coast resident since 1972. Portland resident since 1992. BBA degree from St. John's University. Former personnel administrator, business analyst, communications specialist, actress & community college instructor in business.

Real Estate Experience

Nearly 30 years experience in the marketing & selling of fine homes. Licensed in two states: Oregon & California.
In 1992 I moved my family to Portland and am in love with my adopted city. The experience of selling real estate in the volatile marketplace of Southern California prepared me well for my career here. Since 1992 I have enjoyed my association with Windermere Real Estate as a multi-million dollar producer.

Marketing Philosophy

Listings are sold utilizing marketing techniques that are tailored to the individual property. Negotiations depend on superior communication & people skills. Real estate sales are more about marketing, packaging and people skills than selling.

Role As Agent

I feel my role as a broker is to educate my clients to the current market conditions, inventory and to communicate clearly and often with them. It is my duty to represent and listen to my clients and to represent them fairly and honestly. I aim to make the purchase and/or sale of real estate a pleasant experience.
